4th Grade Decimal Comparison

Materials: Comparison worksheets, cinditions sheet, blank ice cream cone, dice or decimal flashcards, coloring utencils

Instructions: Each student will get a copy of the comparison sheet, conditions sheet, and blank ice cream cone sheet. For each problem, students will either roll the die to fill in the blanks on the comparison sheet or pick a card from the decimal flashcard deck. They will then fill in those blanks and compare the problem they created. After all blanks are filled and problems compared, they will consult the comparison sheet to determine what they put on their ice cream cone. Students will simply match the problem to the condition on the sheet and decorate their ice cream cone according to the answer on their sheet.
