During my junior year of high school, I started noticing that people's disdain for mathematics started at a young age. I also realized that it wasn't just that they didn't like it, but more importantly they weren't quite understanding it back then, therefore ruining math for them entirely. I wanted to change that, so I created mARTh. I came up with ways to start getting elementary aged students excited about learning math, to put a stop in the cycle of dislike. While I know you can't please every child with numbers, I still strive to make a difference in my students lives. Hoping that one day, more and more students will have an easier time understading mathematics and enjoy it at the same time.
